FAIR!

On Saturday I took the kids to Blackfoot to go to the parade to kick off fair week. Mitch had to work :( so he wasn't able to go with us. My dad, brother, sister-in-law, and niece were all in the parade so Michael, Kelli, and I hung out with my mom to cheer for them. We sat at the end of parade, so it was a long wait. Luckily, we had candy to keep Michael entertained.

This is my brother, Lonny's, entry. He recently bought this Mr. Appliance franchise. They repair all types of appliances (he just repaired my oven). They service Pocatello, Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, Rexburg and all the towns between. So next time you need an appliance repaired, give him a call!!

Michael really enjoyed the parade, especially all of the horses and "BIG" trucks. Kelli slept through most of the parade, until a piece of candy that was thrown hit her in the head!

After the parade, we headed to the fair. Lonny and Jesse live on Shilling Ave, so we were able to park in their drive-way (FOR FREE!) and walk to the fair. Michael and Kelli both fell asleep before we even got into the fair, so Mom and I took advantage and ate some yummy lunch! I had to wake Michael up so he could ride some rides. Michael had so much fun and wanted to ride more, but they were $3 each, so we moved on to the petting zoo. The petting zoo wasn't as exciting as I remember from previous years, but Michael enjoyed it. He got to pet goats, bunnies, and puppies. The goats were his favorite and he had to pet each goat.

Michael had a great time! I am glad that it is over. I am not a huge fan of the fair. Until next time...EISF!!

Our Little Girl...

...is 4 months old today! I can't believe it!! Kelli is now such a happy baby! She has found her "voice" and she loves to talk, talk, talk just like her mother! She still loves her baths, loves to eat, and loves to smile! She finally has decided that her car seat isn't that bad, and she doesn't scream every time we put her in it, which we are very grateful for! She has finally got Daddy wrapped around her finger now that she will actually go to him and even prefers him over Mom sometimes. She has been rolling from her back to her tummy for 2 weeks! We love her more and more each day! She is such a blessing in our family!!

Chuckar's Game

We have wanted to go to a Chuckar's game all summer, and we finally made it tonight! It was their 2nd to last game of the season, so we are glad that we were able to go. Sadly, it wasn't a very exciting game. We left during the 5th inning and the Chuckar's were behind 2-0. Michael enjoyed watching and said that he wanted to play baseball when he was older. We told him that when he played, that the object of the game was to hit the ball and catch the ball, two things that we did not see much of tonight. :(

My CUTE Kids!!

Michael and Kelli were both in a good mood this afternoon, so I decided to do a little photo shoot. I do believe that I have the cutest kids in the world.

I love being a mom. It is the GREATEST JOY in my life. I love you, Michael and Kelli!!

Blue Thunder

On Saturday my parents invited us to go to the Blue Angels airshow at the Idaho Falls airport. We had been watching them practice all week since we live so close to the airport, but we were excited to be able to go to the actual show. Michael was so excited to see the "big airplanes".

Before the actual show started, we were able to walk around and look at a bunch of airplanes on display. Fed Ex had their airplane there, so Michael wanted to get a picture with "Daddy's airplane". Mitch was actually helping at the show at the Fed Ex display.

And Kelli got her own set of "Fed Ex" wings.

Michael got to "fly" one of the planes. He didn't want to get out.

Michael kept saying that he wanted his "own" plane, so Grandma and Grandpa bought him his own. We tried to get him to choose one of the bigger Blue Angels plane, but he insisted on a smaller one with teeth (like the ones in the pictures above). It is hard to see in this picture, but he is showing off his very own plane. This plane has not left his sight since. He even has slept with it every night!

It was pretty cool to be at the actual airshow on Saturday, but on Sunday we were able to enjoy the show again from our very own backyard. I wasn't able to get a picture (I tried), but one of the Blue Angels flew right through our backyard and over our house. We felt the breeze as it flew by. If it had been going slower we would have been able to see the pilot's face!! It was incredible! These are some pictures we took from our backyard.

It was an AMAZING show both on Saturday (thanks Dad and Mom) and on Sunday!

On Monday we had family pictures taken. It is difficult with two children (one being a 2 year old) to get a REALLY good picture of all four of us. Here are the best ones.



I don't know why Michael is looking off to the right in every picture, but at least he is smiling! We did get some ADORABLE pictures of the kids.
